A critical review of Deep Purple Mark III and IV featuring previously unreleased footage of blistering performances of Burn and Space Truckin' plus an extensive 1974 back stage interview of Lord and Coverdale, plus rare footage of the Bolin line up.
Inside Deep Purple 1974-76 is a review with UK musicians and critics of Deep Purple Mark III - IV. It starts with an analysis of the inclusion of 2 new members David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes.
There is a video of Purple playing Burn in the background as these critics talk. The intro is very good and lasts about 10 minutes.
Then, like the other Insider DVD's there is a rating for each of the 3 albums that Marks III and IV created.
There is nothing really fantastic or lousy. Hence the 3 stars. Not much video presented but you can see the song Burn in its entirety in the special features section with a 4 minute section of Space Truckin' included.
To me not as good as the other Purple Insider DVD's but good for those who liked Coverdale, Bolin and Hughes.
